Winter in the Sauerland
Altenhundem Lennestrasse in the 1930s.
74 431 is returning from Schmallenberg on her short passenger train. The route to Wennemen via Schmallenberg ran almost exclusively alongside the road in the upper Lennetal. Which also caused its closure in 1965. As everywhere else, private car traffic took its toll.
In Adobe Fresco I started with a light preliminary drawing and worked my way from background to detail with many Kyle T. Webster brushes.
